About San Vito
The county of Coto Brus is in the extreme south of the country, formed by five Districts: San Vito, Sabalito, Agua Buena, Limoncito and Pitier. San Vito serves as the county seat. At an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level and with a very pleasant climate, bucolic landscape, fresh breezes, abundant clean spring water. We are within 8 km of the nearest border with Panama, within 2 hours of the nearest beaches of the Golfo Dulce, 3 h ours from Corcovado National Park, and are the gateway to the International Friendship Park. Both Parks are designated World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Unique to Coto Brus are thermal waters, impressive caverns and caves, and a harmonious blending of cultures of residents of indigenous and Italian descent.
