Everyone involved with Surcos Tours did a wonderful job! Each and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable trip. Roger, who was our guide, knew all of the birds, many of the insects, all of the mammals, etc. He made sure that we all saw each any everything we were interested in seeing. He even found some orchids which were one of my special interests. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I went on a 3 day hike to Sirena with Roger Munoz Vegas as our guide this past December. The wildlife in Corcovado is truly amazing and Roger knew all of the best places to go to spot the animals. Upon hearing the call of a bird, he knew what type of bird it was and could spot it in a few minutes. He also carried a birders telescope which made a huge difference in the views we had of the wildlife. It had a place where I could mount my digital camera to take amazing close up pictures and videos. If Roger was not with us we wouldn't have even seen half of the wildlife. He was great company and had great knowledge of the area. We forgot to bring towels with us and he was even generous enough to let us use his. He is the best guide that I have ever had and he made our trip.

My wife and I recently came back from a 3 day trek into Corcavado National park and it was the highlight of our central america trip!!Everything about the trip was awsome but I especially have to give thanks to and recommend our guide named Bolivar!!We found his knowledge excellent for the area..he totally made our trip!!

My husband and I can't stop thinking and talking about the fantastic 3-day trek we did a couple of weeks ago in Corcovado National Park with Roger Muñoz Vega as our guide. His ability to hear and see the different birds and animals is quite uncanny! There is no way we would have spotted (or been able to identify) even a fraction of the number of creatures we saw without Roger. Visitors without guides definitely missed out - it's worth every penny. With the help of his high-tech telescopic lense (on a tripod), Roger managed to get some pretty good photos from our elderly, not-very-brilliant camera. Roger was also great company throughout our stay. Thanks so much for a life-changing experience. We're getting into bird-watching back here in Britain now!
